Hi, I was able to successfully download,install and configure Cisco VPN client (as per instructions given in my university website). I also successfully connected in Cisco VPN client and got a lock icon on my task bar. I am not sure as to what i need to do next? I am using a laptop to connect(wireless) to internet provided by my university. Then i connect Cisco VPN client. After connecting, if i send anything over the network is it secure? I'm pretty much confused as to what i need to do next after connecting in VPN client.Also while connecting to internet, the university network thacisco download vpn clientt i chose says it's Unsecured network and any data that i send can be seen by others. So if i connect to internet on a unsecured network and then if i connect VPN client, from now on whatever i browse in any browser, will it be secure ? Thanks in advance for your replies.
