Last week, prominent P2P network eDonkey announced it was settling a copyright-infringement lawsuit brought by the Recording Industry Association of America for $300 million and closing up shop forever. Users who clicked a button to update their eDonkey2000 software reported the "update" initiated an uninstallation of the product. Visitors to the eDonkey Web site are now greeted by an intentionally blunt message advising surfers they are not anonymous online (and playfully proving it by displaying visitor IP addresses).
Only a month ago, we learned that former top file-sharing program Kazaa settled with the RIAA for $115 million, and that current top P2P application LimeWire was being sued for an estimated $476 million. The LimeWire case is expected to go to court next month.

Personally i think that the RIAA and the MPAA are being stupid. They are so busy running here and there trying to stop these companies rather then thinking of other different stratgies to take them down. RIAA needs a reality check. You can shut down program after program, the users will just take their files to the next big thing. I used edonkey extensively for years, and kazaa before that. When edonkey got bombed, I spent less than 2 minutes finding another P2P network, and I like it better. You can't put a genie back into the bottle, the ttop p2p file sharing sitesechnology exists, now adapt or die, RIAA.
It's dangerous for one thing. You never really know what you are downloading. It's a great way to get spyware and viruses onto your computer.
It's also illegal - plain and simple. You're getting a product for free. If you're on one of this p2p programs, you are also likely uploading it to someone else as well. Only a month ago, we learned that former top file-sharing program Kazaa settled with the RIAA for $115 million, and that current top P2P application LimeWire was being sued for an estimated $476 million. The LimeWire case is expected to go to court next month.

They are so busy running here and there trying to stop these companies rather then thinking of other different stratgies to take them down. RIAA needs a reality check. You can shut down program after program, the users will just take their files to the next big thing. I used edonkey extensively for years, and kazaa before that. When edonkey got bombed, I spent less than 2 minutes finding another P2P network, and I like it better. You can't put a genie back into the bottle, the ttop p2p file sharing sitesechnology exists, now adapt or die, RIAA.
It's dangerous for one thing. You never really know what you are downloading. It's a great way to get spyware and viruses onto your computer.
It's also illegal - plain and simple. You're getting a product for free. If you're on one of this p2p programs, you are also likely uploading it to someone else as well. I have a brand new Sony VAIO FZ26OE. It is bluetooth capable. When I was first setting up the computer I know that there was an option to turn it on, but I didn't want it on at the moment. Since then, I can't seem to find how to turn it on. I've read the help menu which tells me to double click the WLAN option and select from there, hodownload broadcom bluetooth driverswever there is no bluetooth option available! When I access bluetooth settings from the control pannel, there's no way to turn it on from there either. I've gone to Sony's website and googled my question, but there doesn't seem to be a direct answer anywhere. You don't want to do that. Reflashing the firmware is done only if the producer (Nokia) issues an important firmware update. Don't mess with such stuff yourself, or you'll end up with a brick instead of a phone.
The best way to remove the virus is by using an anti-virus program that can recognize, identify and remove it properly. Allternatively, you can hard-reset the phone. This will kill the virus, along with everything else you have added to the phone (games, phone numbers, etc.) and will restore the factory settings. However, it will kill the virus only from the main memory of the phone. If it has also infected the MMC card, it will re-infenokia flash software downloadct the phone from there during the reboot. So, make sure you remove the MMC card before the resetting and delete its contents using an MMC card reader on PC.
In order to reset (format) the phone, do the following:
1. Make sure the battery is fully charged.
2. Turn phone off and remove the MMC card.
3. Now this can be little tricky, but it's not so difficult. While the phone is complelty switched off, you must hold down three keys. These keys are the green call key, the star (*) key and the number 3def key. (If you hold phone laying in front of you on a hard surface it makes the procedure a lot less tricky.)
4. Once you have all the three keys firmly pressed, you need to reach out with your right index finger to switch the phone on. You must not release any of the 3 buttons while doing this, or the formatting will fail.
5. Keep all the three keys pressed untill the phone asks you to enter your country, then date and time. That's when you know the procenokia flash software downloaddure has been succesfull and phone has been fully formatted. If you do not get prompted to enter the country and date and time, then the formatting has failed and you must try again. It's likely that you have released a button while switching the phone on. If it doesn't work on the first attempt, keep trying.
There are also two other ways to "format" the phone which are less tricky to perform but which delete less, so a virus might survive them:
1. Restore original phone settings: enter the number *#7780#

Last sunday I installed windows vista in my computer, and everything worked well. I tried windows media player, internet explorer, and the side bar, even though I didn't try the other programs above before starting to install the automatic updates of windows vista... after I started to install them, some of the programs stopped working, but I ignored them because they weren't that important to me. I tried to install java and media player, and I noticed that they didn't work. when I tried to install java, it would cancel and open a windows saying, "the windows installer sevice could not be accessed. this can occur if the windows instaler is not coflash player for windowsrretly installe .contact your support personnel for assistance." I tried doing it again and again, but it wouldn't work. Well you can if you have cusom firmware. There are many sites you can find just by using google. I googled free psp game downloads and used the 2nd one (sorry don't remember site). Well you can if you have cusom firmware. There are many sites you can find just by using google. I googled free psp game downloads and used the 2nd one (sorry don't remember site). You should check the settings on the McAfee. As a person I womicrosoft.com downloaduld really reccomend to get AVG you can download it off for free at download.com . You can also find lots of the stuff your looking for there too. By the you should install firefox, and for the websites that require internet explorer or anything else ( popular ) install an add on "User Agent Switcher" ( for firefox ).
Mine was due to Comcast. I switched to the open DNS servers instead of using the Comcast DNS servers-use 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. Change this in Network Connection-Local area INternet Protocol- use the following DNS servers- change the 1394 connection to if download still doesnt work. .

You should check the settings on the McAfee. As a person I womicrosoft.com downloaduld really reccomend to get AVG you can download it off for free at download.com . You can also find lots of the stuff your looking for there too. By the you should install firefox, and for the websites that require internet explorer or anything else ( popular ) install an add on "User Agent Switcher" ( for firefox ).
Mine was due to Comcast. I switched to the open DNS servers instead of using the Comcast DNS servers-use 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. Change this in Network Connection-Local area INternet Protocol- use the following DNS servers- change the 1394 connection to if download still doesnt work. .
first of all, its mcafee. no offense, but microsoft.com downloadmcafee is about the worst antivirus on the market. its quite obvious that you need a different antivirus. might I suggest AVG, you can download a free trial off download.com. if its not thqat, then change some settings.
go to pcw.co.uk and try a download from there its quicker and no hassle like microsoft site if your software is not registered with MS the update site tags your computer with WGA this will not allow you to down any updates to your operating system

youtube broadcast yourself videoWhat is this "broadcast yourself" appeared in youtube everytime i want to post a video in facebook?
Recently many times when I want to share a video from you tube in facebook, it shows the text " broadcast yourself" and besides some letters not very easy to recognize, like those used for verification of the users in some cases. However the track title is no more appeared in facebook, just theyoutube broadcast yourself video link. Can anyone tell me how to change this and make the track title appeare?

whbearshare musicen you're in bearshare, go to preferences or options and find what folder the downloads are going to.
when you find the folder, just drag it to itunes.
if that doesn'tbearshare music work, highlight all of the songs and then click properties and set the default media player to iTunes and then drag them.
