webmd medical symptom checker doctorI think I'm having a medical crisis!?

I don't know what to do. Ever since a couple days ago when I stayed up all night and until around 4 p.m. because I couldn't sleep, I've been going through utter hell. I'm getting very emotional (but with no "high" or any happiness), trembling, hot flashes and then chills (which is rather common for me, but these are pretty severe), REALLY BAD sweating, getting dehydrated very easily, dizziness, and an increase in appetite but feeling like I'm going to throw up from eating almost anything, or from being around bad smells.

I have a history of mental disorders, though I think most of them are actually just side effects or whatever by the medication my last psychiatrist put me on (I'm also going through a change in my doctor), and I was recently taken off two of them to try another two. One of them was making me a little emotional, either from the lack of my original med or from the new one itself, and the other new medication, which is an extended release version of it's respective original, and has a sedative side effect also like its original, seemed to be putting me out way too long. Ever since I started the said extended release med, I seem to be having a lot more nightmares as well. I called my psychiatrist who I'm switching from, and she said to give them another week, which I did, but it remained the same. I'm realizing that I should have called her back to see whether I should continue my original meds or what. Last night (the first night I've ever slept without webmd medical symptom checker doctora sleeping pill in months because I was physically addicted to it), was TORTURE for me to fall asleep naturally, especially with my emotional state, and I didn't get enough sleep. I woke up a few hours later INCREDIBLY dehydrated, then took a nap today and woke up a few hours later again, quite dehydrated, but not as bad as last night.

WebMD's Symptom Checker isn't helping much, because there's several conditions that this could be, but I'm thinking it might just be a really long panic attack, or several in a row. I don't know, I just really want help. I guess I've just cracked from the strain of this.
You may find it beneficial to spend some time looking at possible reasons for why you feel the way you do. If underlying emotional problems are triggering your stress, you may need some help in dealing with them. Talking about these feelings may make you feel better.
From what you say, it sounds as if you have experienced some of the common side effects of your medications, but it's worth knowing that it can take up to six weeks for any antidepressant to begin having a significant impact and for side effects to subside. Although it's understandable you're unsure about changing your medication it's important you don't stop taking the antidepressants abruptly, because doing so can trigger discontinuation symptoms.

Practically, antidepressants only form about 10% of treatment for depression or anxiety. Talking about how you feel to a close friend or relative would allow youwebmd medical symptom checker doctor to share your feelings and identify your needs. It may also provide your friends or family with a better insight into your situation, so they can offer effective support and understanding. But sometimes it is easier to speak to someone we don't know. This is where talking treatments can prove very useful. Speaking to a counselor or therapist can be helpful, as they will be able to help you work through your issues in a confidential, non-judgmental environment. Your GP should be able to give more specific advice on the kinds of talking treatments, such as counselling, or alternative medications such as natural remedies that might work for you. You can also discuss your concerns about conception whilst taking antidepressants.

Take care as always!
Something you might try in addition to whatever else you do, is give yourself a nutrition checkup. Make sure you're including a source of vitamin B12 in your diet, vitamin D if you don't get out in the sun, and also Omega 3 fatty acids like DHA capsules from algae. Just some ideas.

Your body may be reacting to the change in medication. Can you call your new doctor? Do you have a new doctor yet? Please drink plenty of fluids to keep yourself hydrated. Try to find ways to calm yourself down. I hope you will be feeling better soon. Good Luck.
